ABOUT BEYOND DISABILITIES
Empowering Families. Strengthening Voices. Embracing Every Opportunity.
Founded by disability advocate and mom, Gelin Ducati, Beyond Disabilities was born from a deeply personal mission: to ensure that families navigating life with a child who has a disability are never left behind.
What started as one mom’s fight for her son, Trey, has grown into a movement of connection, compassion, and change. Through support groups, advocacy, and accessible resources, we’re building a world where children of all abilities can flourish—and parents can find strength in a like-minded and supportive community.

MEET GELIN AND TREY
GELIN DUCATI
FOUNDER, MOTHER ADVOCATE
Gelin Ducati is a passionate advocate, speaker, and changemaker. Born and raised in the Philippines, Gelin’s early experiences showed her the heartbreaking disparities in care for children with disabilities. But it wasn’t until her own son, Trey, was diagnosed with a rare condition that her mission became crystal clear:
To transform her personal journey into a powerful platform for others.
Today, Gelin shares her story to inspire, educate, and empower. She’s committed to breaking stigma, building inclusive communities, and giving families the tools they need to advocate with confidence and courage.

MEET GELIN AND TREY
TREY DUCATI
SON, INSPIRATION, HERO
Trey’s story is where it all began. Diagnosed with a rare disability at a young age, Trey’s journey has been one of strength, resilience, and monumental moments. From countless doctor’s visits and therapy sessions to learning how to function in a world not made for children like him, Trey has shown what it means to persevere. Every milestone he reaches—whether it’s eating solid foods, a stronger step taken, or a goal achieved—is a victory not only for him, but for every family walking a similar path.
For his mom, Gelin, the journey wasn’t just about locating the best care—it was about finding community, resources, and a space where her voice was truly heard. That search is what inspired the creation of Beyond Disabilities—a nonprofit born from personal experience, built on hope, and rooted in the firm belief that no child should be defined by a diagnosis. Trey continues to be the heartbeat of this mission, reminding us that with the right support, children of all abilities can soar far beyond expectations.
